I may delete this later,idk.
I've noticed a reoccurring trend with everyone I know lately. I'm not sure if you all know the field I want to go into. I really want to go into the movie and video game area. As a designer, animator, editor, or at the most preferable a director. Hell I'm even in college studying it. Right now I'm mainly shooting to just get into the industry, and work my way up top. But it becomes increasingly disheartening to hear nearly everyone I care about show hesitation. In art and in film. (Art wise I am far more active on tumblr, may even start up an art blog so anyone still interested can go see it without being flooded with my fandom crap.) In any case, I've studied art for years. And often times I notice my friends come to me for advice on their art, and/or films. They value it, however anytime I speak of where I want to be in the future, they usually show hesitation, as if I'm not qualified or something similar to that feeling. Like I can't handle the time and effort it takes to do something I love. Idk I figure if you want advice, you think that I am knowledgeable and experienced in the area. So why the negativity? Why the doubt?
I'm sorry, I just needed to get it out and this is the place I feel safest, and I'm fairly sure I won't be hurting anyone, because no one on here is associated with this problem.
